SCHADS GPT answers questions about the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award from the award document itself — quoting the clause rather than paraphrasing it, so you can verify the answer instead of taking it on faith.
Why we built it
SCHADS runs to hundreds of pages. Overtime, broken shifts, sleepovers, afternoon and weekend penalties, minimum engagements and a long list of allowances all interact, and they change with each annual wage review.
General-purpose chatbots answer these questions confidently and often wrongly — they paraphrase from memory, and a paraphrase of a pay rule is worth nothing to someone who has to defend it. SCHADS GPT reads the actual award text and shows you the clause it relied on.
What it does

- Covers the parts that get paid wrong
- Classifications and pay points, penalty rates, overtime, broken shifts, sleepovers, minimum engagements and allowances.
It’s a web app — nothing to install. The chat on the home page is the live product: ask a question without an account, then create a free account to keep going.
